Tuck Shop

Tuck Shop
Every Friday, students from our Post Primary classes operate a school tuck shop, providing an opportunity for all pupils to purchase some delightful Friday treats. This initiative brings advantages to both our Primary and Post Primary students and has become a much-anticipated part of the week.
Benefits of a Student-Run School Tuck Shop

- Responsibility & accountability: Students are trusted with real duties, which builds reliability and independence.
- Leadership & teamwork: Learners work together, take on different roles (manager, cashier, stock controller), and develop cooperation and leadership skills.
- Decision-making & problem-solving: Students deal with real challenges such as shortages, pricing decisions, and customer complaints.
- Communication skills: They interact with customers, suppliers, and teachers, improving confidence and interpersonal skills.
