Forest School

We had super fun at Forest school in the Glen River Park today (May 8th). We learned about knots, rolled down grassy hills, made creatures and things from clay and stuck them to trees, climbed over the river and had our lunch. Two of our girls even wrote a very important message with clay and stuck it to a tree. Some of the boys made a tractor from grass cuttings (look hard and you’ll see it!). The staff selfie got photo bombed! and we all went home with a very healthy exhaustion!

We had great fun at Forest school on the 17th April!

Another great day at Forest School in the Glen today, March 15th. The children picked up lots of litter. Well done guys!

Some of our children from Beech class and Maple class have been attending forest school with Mary and Gemma and the last few weeks have been going to the Glen River Park. They are having such great fun and learning so much from the experience. Today, March 5th, they were joined by local artist Julia Forrester who took them for an exploratory walk around the park.
