On Friday November 20th 2015 St. Killian's received our Irish flag to commemorate the centenary of the 1916 Rising.
2 members of the Irish army came to school and we had a fantastic day.

All the children had been working on projects about the Rising and these were displayed on the day. Marie, our school secretary, made an Irish flag cake and both pupils and staff enjoyed it! Junior 1 were very excited to be allowed to sit in the army jeep. We had a fantastic day!
